Clap Your Hands!

Just some images of the latest artwork I created for the mixtape project that we are involved in.
I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. I love the colours and the retro feel that I created. It would be so ace to design some artwork for a band some day soon.

Pattern by Orla Kiely

This is one gorgeous book that I highly recommend to anyone with any interest in pattern, fashion design or colour. It is beautifully laid out with pages and pages of sumptuous coloured images and patterns. Orla Kiely's use of colour is sublime and this book is certainly a feast for the eyes. There is just the right balance between images and words as well, and it's really interesting reading about Orla's creative process.

Craft fair

On sunday 24th April I had a stand at Claymills Victorian Pumping Station . It was only the second time I've had a stall so it's still all new to me. I didn't make much, but had a great time and had some lovely cake! On top of that I met some lovely and talented people, carry on looking to see photos of all the stalls.

These three images are of my stall with all new linocuts! Available from my shop on Facebook

Working meccano version of some of the machinery in the pumping station

Who organised the craft fair and is a blacksmith!

A fantastic stand of wood turned products and also wood turning demonstrations. A very talented man!

Antonia Booker Jewellery  some of the jewellery shown here was made by Antonia Booker's talented hands and some was made by another great jewellery maker who I didn't manage to get contact details for

Always has lots of tempting, gorgeous, but affordable things to buy, by an array of great artists/illustrators/designers

An artist who makes beautiful sculptures and these intricate mosaics with reclaimed materials
