Jubilee Cupcake paper toy

I'm releasing June's paper toy early, and it's a double whammy, coz I'm feeling generous!
Want some cute decorations for your Jubilee celebrations (if that's your thing?), or just some cute paper toys for whenever.

Robot Tower

I started a new job several weeks ago, and it's full time, so it is more difficult getting to do the chance do any illustrations. Especially with trying to finish off the digital magazine, Air Monkeys, that me and my husband run with a few friends.
So the long and short of it, is that it has taken me a very long time to get this one done!
It is my first attempt at using perspective on Illustrator, I'm still running CS3 at the moment, so it is a bit limited on perspective options. It was more of a challenge than I expected it to be, and I still didn't get it bang on, but I'm fairly happy with it.

Harold The Super Hamster!

Here is my paper toy for May. He is called Harold and he is a hamster with a cape, pants and an eye mask, he is awesome! He is super fast on his wheel, and can climb those cage bars like a pro. He also holds the hamster record for the amount of food he can store in his pouches!

If you want to have a go at making him yourself (and this one is really easy) then download the net for FREE from www.samanthaeynon.com

Car Booting :)

Goodies from a sunday morning at a car boot sale:
A brilliant 50's/60's stool that we will probably re-trim, great for £5! I was really pleased with this find, as we had been wanting a footstool for ages anyway.
A lovely Agfa vintage camera for a few quid.
3 old soda stream bottles for 50p
Such good fun having a proper rummage through the rubbish to find some gems :)

Vintage Wooden egg cups! :)

I spotted these while having a rummage at an antiques shop. I zoned in on their little painted faces, and they were only 50p each, a bargain in my eye, especially as they are hand-painted. They are egg cups, but I think they are too pretty to be kept in a cupboard so I am using them to put my rings and necklaces in at night.

Smile At A Stranger

I always think that a smile from a stranger can brighten up you day. It's a shame people don't do it more often, dogs are much more forthcoming (though not sure I agree with their other greetings, probably best to leave that to the dogs!)

Happy Easter!

Please say hello to April's paper toy, Fred and Ginger! It is a few days late, even though I planned it out weeks ago! Other things just seemed to get in the way. I wanted to get a bit of a retro look for this one, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. One of my favourites I think!
